Blue Water Express
Blue Water Safaris operates the highly popular BlueWater Express service from Bali to the three magical Gili Islands - Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. Established in early 2006, Blue Water Express is the longest running fast boat service from Bali to the Gili Islands. Our departure point at Bali International Marina in south Bali (just 15-20 minutes from Kuta) ensures a quick and convenient run, avoiding the long road trip up to Padang Bai in East Bali. We also offer private charters for fishing and snorkeling trips to Lembongan Island and any other oceanic needs. We currently operate two boats: Blue Water Express 1 - is a 13.5m, 24-seat passenger vessel, custom designed to serve the route from Bali to the Gili Islands and Lombok. With 3 x 200HP engines, she cruises at around 30knots and covers the distance Benoa to the Gilis in less than 2.5 hours. Blue Water Express 2 - also runs to the Gili Islands during high season. With 2 x 200hp outboards and a seating capacity of 16, she also covers the distance in around 2 - 2 1/2 hours. She is also available for private charter, and is fully set up for fishing. Both boats have a spacious sundeck on the roof, and are fully equipped with international safety equipment including life jackets, auto-inflating life rafts, distress flares, GPS / depthsounders, VHF radio, ring buoys. They are captained by professional crew with many years experience navigating the waters around Bali and Lombok. The Blue Water Express offers the quickest way to get to and from the Gilis and Nusa Lembongan from all main South Bali areas: Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa.
