Crystal Divers Crystal Divers

Crystal Divers has been serving the needs of divers from all over the world since 1997; owned and operated by PADI Course Director Minni Vangsgaard. We are based in the middle of Sanur at Crystal Santai Hotel.

The calm clear waters surrounding the island are a scuba diver's dream. This is the ideal spot to learn to dive, launch a diving career or just dive for pleasure among some of the world's finest tropical reefs. Beach and boat dives, drift and wall dives, reef and wreck exploration - Crystal Divers has access to them all! It's a holiday adventure you'll never forget.

Explore the "Other Side of Bali" under the water with a range of dive safaris and day trips. Meet the staff of Crystal Divers for a relaxed BBQ every 1st of the month, we are known for our good food also on the dive trips and courses. Boat trips are done on our own boats Divers Point and Putri Emily.

Crystal Divers also runs an "Explore Dive" program, if you find a great new dive spot, you get the chance to name the site!

We have a big selection of equipment tool. Retailing some of the top names in the scuba equipment industry and all PADI course materials, from a tiny o-ring to a full set of new gear, we can supply it!

Crystal also offers all PADI Scuba Courses from Bubble Maker to Instructor and Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Non-certification programs and 19 different Specialty Courses are also available.  Crystal Divers look forward to meet you and take you to some of the best dive sites the world has to offer.

Although the shipwreck is the main attraction for divers at Tulamben, there are several other great sites there, too. At the eastern end is the famous Tulamben Drop-Off, a sheer wall teeming with marine life. Further around there are vast slopes and rock formations dropping into the deep and the reef in the main bay has been a favorite for some of the world's top photographers for many years.

All of this, coupled with very little current, makes absolutely perfect conditions for the whole of the Advanced Open Water Course as well as many Specialty Courses - Underwater Photography, Wreck or one of the best Night Specialty dives most people will do in there lives! It's also a great place to stay, too.

Menjangan - Also known as Deer Island, Menjangan lies off the northwest shore of Bali. It offers vertical walls and also has a small shipwreck known as the "Arak Wreck". This is down at forty meters, so you will have to be a qualified Deep Diver to dive this, however if you are not yet qualified for this depth you can still enjoy the great wall dives. Due to the north western location of this site and Crystal divers being located in the south we tend to build this site into a dive safari and spend a night in Lovina to unwind and enjoy the cool climate of the north, before moving on to the next days sites.

Amed - Also known as Jemeluk, Amed is situated on Bali's north east shore quite close to the better known dive area of Tulamben. Amed is a small north facing bay with high cliffs on the eastern side and sandy salt flats to the west, offering a choice of two dives, one a wall (east) and the other a drift over terracing underwater landscapes. At the foot of the cliffs to the east of the bay lies a large coral reef in fairly shallow water. As the reef spreads out seaward it suddenly plunges down about 50 meters out from the cliff bottom forming a wall that runs eastward into the next bay around the headland.
